The Precision Drapery Engineering of Norman® USA
We believe that luxury custom curtains should offer flawless operational performance alongside beautiful, couture design. That is why Redondo Window Fashions proudly partners with Norman® USA to anchor our custom drapery and hardware programs.
Every custom drapery panel and automated traverse track we deliver across the South Bay is built to order. Using Norman’s patented fabric stabilization techniques, cordless safety control systems, and marine-grade components, these systems are engineered to withstand the unique dampness and salt air of coastal California environments.
Premium UV Fabric Shielding
Sourced from the world's finest mills, our textiles are UV-stabilized and backed by high-performance thermal linings. This advanced engineering prevents delicate linen fibers from fading, dry-rotting, or shrinking under intense Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes sun exposure.
SmartGlide® Cordless Safety
Certified "Best for Kids" by the Window Covering Safety Council. Norman's award-winning baton controls and automated drapery tracks completely eliminate hazardous hanging cord loops, offering a pristine aesthetic and total peace of mind for South Bay families.
Whisper-Quiet Motorized Tracks
Engineered with proprietary heavy-duty internal tracking rails and whisper-quiet belt drives. These systems effortlessly glide expansive, full-weight curtain panels across large coastal sliding glass doors with a gentle smartphone tap or simple voice command.

fAQs
Store-bought curtains are thin, standard lengths that often slide awkwardly or drag on the floor. Our custom drapery panels are built to the exact millimeter of your ceiling drop and window height. We use premium, heavy-weight fabrics featuring double-turned side hems, custom-weighted corners for a flawless architectural hang, and high-performance linings that shield your interior from harsh California UV rays.
For public living spaces with ocean views, our light-filtering sheer linens and Belgian linens are incredibly popular. They reduce sun glare and protect furniture while preserving natural light and open-air ambiance. For coastal bedrooms or home theaters in Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes, we recommend our luxury woven fabrics or velvets backed with high-density blackout thermal linings for absolute privacy and climate control.
Absolutely. We specialize in high-end window track engineering. We can install sleek, custom motorized drapery tracks that pair seamlessly with your smart home ecosystem, including Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. This allows you to open or close heavy, expansive drapery panels across large patio sliders with a single voice command or tap on your phone.
During your free in-home consultation, our mobile design team brings large fabric books and hardware samples directly to you. We will evaluate your interior architecture and show you how different drapery headers—such as classic pinch pleats, modern wave folds, or tailored inverted box pleats—will look alongside your current furniture, flooring, and wall colors before you buy.
Yes, absolutely! We welcome you to visit our physical showroom located at 335 W Arbor Vitae St, Inglewood, CA 90301. In our store, you can interact with full-size working displays of our automated motorized shades, feel the premium wood textures of our custom plantation shutters, browse fabric books for designer drapery, and experience the weight and luxury of our solid brass interior door knobs and hardware levers.
Because we only sell premium, designer-grade textiles, our drapery fabrics are treated to look pristine for years with very low maintenance. For regular upkeep in breezy coastal areas like Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach, a light, occasional vacuuming with a soft brush attachment removes household dust and beach salt particles. For a deep refresh, we recommend professional dry cleaning, which protects the integrity of the hidden thermal linings, weighted corners, and custom-tailored pleat headers from shrinking or warping.
